Had to choose between a gas dryer and heat pump model when my old one finally gave out

I went with the heat pump for $200 more back in March and honestly my electric bill dropped by about $15 a month, but the loads take way longer - anyone else made that switch and regretted it or am I just impatient?

Oh man, I feel this so hard! I got a heat pump dryer last summer and I swear I've aged ten years waiting for a single load of towels to finish. My wife jokes that our laundry room is now a hibernation station for my patience. But hey, at least my electric bill is a little lighter and I've gotten really good at starting a load before bed and pretending it'll be done by morning.

Wait, you actually start a load before bed and hope it's done by morning? @kai914 that is some next level optimism, I just gave up and bought extra towels.
