Went to a matinee and the guy behind me narrated the whole movie

Last Tuesday I caught a 2pm showing at the AMC on 4th, and this older dude kept whispering plot predictions to his wife like it was a sports game. I finally turned around and asked him if he'd ever been to a theater before, and he just shrugged and said 'I'm helping people follow along.' Has anyone else had a run-in with a talker who genuinely thinks they're doing you a favor?

Went to see a horror flick once and this lady behind me kept yelling "don't go in there!" like she was the director's helper. I get it, I once tried explaining a twist to my buddy and he told me to shush so loud the whole row heard. Guess we all think we're the main character sometimes.
