Best week ever for Milky Way shots last month

I went out to a dark spot near Joshua Tree every night for 5 days straight and got 3 keepers that actually show the core detail. Anyone else have a lucky streak like that or was it just the moon phase working in my favor?

Wait, am I the only one who thinks 3 keepers out of 5 nights is actually pretty normal for astro? lol. I mean sure the moon phase helps a ton but a lot of it is just luck with the atmosphere being steady and no unexpected clouds rolling in. I've gone out for a whole week and come back with maybe 1-2 shots that I actually want to process, the rest are just test frames or stuff with bad tracking. Sounds like you got a solid run but I wouldn't call it a lucky streak, more like you put in the work and got what you deserved.
