Heads up about false color in stacked nebula shots, took me 3 days to fix

I spent 3 whole evenings re-stacking the same Orion data because the colors looked like a bad acid trip. Turned out my calibration frames were fine, but my drizzle settings were messing with the Bayer pattern interpolation. Every tutorial I watched skipped that part completely. Finally found a forum post from 2019 explaining the exact menu toggle in the integration process. Now I check the CFA pattern box before every stack, no exceptions. Has anyone else burned a weekend on something this dumb in PixInsight or DSS?

Check the CFA box before debayer every single time, learned that lesson the hard way too.
