I tried stacking 50 photos of the Orion Nebula from my backyard and got a weird green tint I can't explain

Oh man, that green tint is the worst. Happened to me last year with Andromeda, turned everything this sickly pea soup color. Spent a whole weekend trying to fix it in the stacking software. Sometimes it's a white balance setting buried in the camera or the stacking program itself. Really hope you figure it out, that's so frustrating after all that work.

Remember that time I tried to photograph the full moon and it came out looking like a flat gray coin? Spent hours checking my gear, only to realize I had some weird in-camera filter turned on that I forgot about. It’s crazy how one small setting you didn’t even know existed can ruin a whole night of work. Makes you want to just start over from scratch sometimes.
