My neighbor's 10 inch reflector caught a satellite flare I never expected
Last week we were set up for a deep sky shoot in the desert near Moab and this random pass lit up like a flashbulb right through his eyepiece, has anyone else accidentally captured a satellite flare while framing a target?

Ha, "lit up like a flashbulb" is pretty much the story of my life, except mine are usually me tripping over a tripod leg in the dark. I've had a satellite flare ruin a long exposure once, and I swear it looked more like a UFO abduction than a nice star field. Maybe it's just me, but I've learned to just laugh and reshoot, since my luck with unexpected sparks is about as good as my focus.
