Took 6 weeks to figure out my star trails were from a cheap tripod, not my polar alignment
Drove out to Sedona twice thinking my alignment was off, bought a $180 mount, and it turned out my $25 tripod was shaking in the wind the whole time, so what cheap gear fooled you into blaming your own skills?
