Just hit my 500th dent repair without having to repaint a single panel

I've been doing paintless dent removal out of my garage for about two years now and somehow crossed that 500 mark this morning on a 2019 Civic door ding, has anyone else hit a random milestone that made them stop and think about how far they've come?

Aren't you basically admitting you're just too lazy or cheap to learn how to properly paint match?

My buddy tried to do the whole proper paint match thing on his old Tacoma, spent like three weekends sanding and buying those little test spray cans, then the clear coat just orange peeled all over. Looked worse than when he started. He ended up just hitting it with a rattle can from the auto parts store and calling it a day, parked it in the sun to bake it. Sometimes knowing when to just get it done beats being a perfectionist about it. I mean, the factory paint on these things isn't exactly museum quality from day one anyway. Maybe it's just me but I've seen plenty of "proper" paint jobs that still chip and fade just as fast.
