Old timer's weld sequence tip just got me out of a nasty quarter panel pull
Guy I met at a swap meet in Fresno swore I was warping my seams by jumping around, told me to run the welds in a strict daisy chain order instead. Tried it today on a 2015 Civic quarter and the gaps came out dead straight first time, never second-guessed my spot welding like that before. Anyone else have a pro tip they ignored for years that turned out to be gold?

Quit overthinking it, jumping around evens out heat better than any daisy chain.

Three hundred and sixty degrees of rotation? I mean, that's literally what a daisy chain does, just in a line. How does jumping around even out heat better when the whole point is to keep the airflow hitting every fin evenly?
