That convo with my old instructor that finally clicked
Had a chat with my collision instructor from tech school last week after 5 years. He said most guys focus on the dent instead of the metal stress around it and it hit me that I've been wasting time on the wrong angle every time. Anybody else have a talk like that that changed how you work?

Wait, you're telling me you've been out there just wailing on dents like some kind of feral creature with no plan at all? @taylor668 that's honestly wild to me because I've spent years developing a system where I start from the edges of the dent and work my way inward. No kidding, my mind is blown right now thinking about all the time you must be wasting without any real strategy. I guess if it's working, it's working, but you gotta at least try using a hair dryer to heat up the area first before you go all caveman on it. Can't believe anyone just attacks dents without a little thought first, seriously.
