The 2 foot dent in a customer's door that I fixed with a $12 plunger from Ace Hardware
Last week a regular brought in his Silverado with a big dent in the passenger door from a mailbox post in his own driveway. I tried my usual slide hammer and spoons, but the metal was too stretched, so I grabbed a $12 plunger from the Ace down on 5th, wet the cup, and popped it out in two pulls. Has anyone else used a cheap toilet plunger for a dent like that, or am I the only one keeping one in my cart?
