Wasted $200 on a cheap paint sprayer from Home Depot
I bought that $200 Wagner sprayer for a Ford F-150 job in Austin, and it clogged up after 10 minutes of use. Took me 3 hours to clean it out every time I used it, and the finish came out all orange-peeled. I ended up borrowing a friend's $500 Sata gun and finished the truck in half the time with zero issues. Has anyone else had bad luck with budget sprayers? I'm looking at buying a used one instead now.

Man, I feel your pain. That's such a bummer dropping $200 only to get frustrated like that. I've been there with cheap tools and it always ends up costing more in time and hassle than just getting something decent from the start. @thomas.tyler is right that thinning can help some, but it doesn't fix bad internal parts. I think you're smart to look at a used Sata or something similar, cause those budget guns just aren't reliable for a real job. At least you know now and can save up for something that actually works.
