Found out a 737 ADIRU weighs less than a case of beer and I still can't get over it
Was doing a removal on a 737-800 last week in the hangar and the new guy asked how much the ADIRU weighs, so we looked it up in the AMM and the thing only comes in around 22 pounds. I had been treating those units like they were made of gold bricks for 8 years, using two hands and a foam pad, and here they are lighter than a 24 pack. Anybody else get surprised by how light some of this gear actually is once you see the spec sheet?

Man, I've been babying those things for years and they weigh less than my lunchbox.
