Bugs are always finding their way into these things. That's a few hundred grand sitting on the tarmac grounded by some dirt dauber. Surprised it didn't trip an error before pushback.

Used to think those covers were just extra steps in the preflight, but after seeing something like that I totally get it now. Guess a tiny little bug really can stop a jumbo jet cold.

DFW ground crew probably had to call in a bug bomb instead of a maintenance log entry for that one. A single mud dauber nest turns a 300 ton plane into a very expensive lawn ornament. Bet the insurance adjuster got a laugh out of that claim though.
