Just realized the new firmware for the Garmin GTN 750 Xi can cause a weird autopilot pitch-up on initial engagement
Tbh, I installed version 6.41 on a King Air last week and on the first post-maintenance flight, the pilots reported a sharp 10-degree nose-up command right after hitting the AP button. We rolled it back to 6.40 and the issue went away. Has anyone else on the Gulf Coast run into this with the latest update?

Yeah, that tracks perfectly with what we saw. Had the same exact pitch-up on a Baron after the update, scared the heck out of the guy flying. Rolling back was the only fix that worked for us too.

Scary that rolling back was the only fix. Did you guys try a fresh install of the new version first, or just go straight back to the old one?
