Noticing a hurry-up attitude in avionics inspections lately.
It's sketchy. Had a comms unit fry because someone skipped the resistance check.

Honestly, hearing about that comms unit frying from a skipped resistance check is really bad. Tbh, rushing through inspections means people forget simple steps all the time. I saw a GPS module fail last week because someone didn't do the full wire harness check. It makes you wonder how much gets missed with that hurry-up attitude.

Watched a tech at my old shop skip the torque sequence on a manifold once. He was in a rush to finish before closing. Just hand-tightened everything and called it done. Next day, the car came back with a big leak. Had to redo the whole job and replace damaged gaskets. It's wild how one shortcut can waste more time later.

Ugh, seen that exact thing happen with coolant lines on a truck. Guy didn't follow the criss-cross pattern for the flange bolts, just zipped them down in a circle. It held for maybe a week before it dumped all the coolant on the highway. Created a way bigger mess than if he'd just done it right the first time, total pain.
