My aunt asked why I was still single at Thanksgiving dinner, and my cousin's answer saved me
We were 20 minutes into eating in my mom's dining room in Boise last November when my aunt pointed her fork at me and asked when I was finally going to settle down. Before I could answer, my cousin just said "she's got a dog and a truck, that's two more commitments than you've had since 2019" and the whole table moved on to the mashed potatoes. Do you all have a relative who jumps in like that, or do you just sit there and take it?
