Watch a man spend nearly an hour on a simple machine and somehow turn a broken opener into a full on home security system that now only opens for squirrels. He probably created a new problem that requires a professional with a blowtorch to fix. Classic holiday home repair energy right there.

Oh man, @harper_thompson13 is right about the new problem. I'm just picturing the future where the family has to explain this to a real repair person. "Well, the sensor only reads small moving heat sources now, and we think it's calibrated to local wildlife." The guy will just stare, write a huge bill, and tell you to never let your uncle near a tool box again. It becomes the legendary story told every single year.
