My mom told me to never date a guy with a mullet, and I ignored her for a guy named Chad

Back in 2019 I went on a date with this dude who had a sweet mullet and drove a Trans Am (seriously), and he spent the whole dinner lecturing me about why pineapple on pizza is a federal crime. Has anyone else had a parent give them dating advice that totally backfired when they didn't listen?
