Spent $40 on a dating app boost and got zero matches
Tbh I was frustrated after a week of nothing so I dropped $40 on a Tinder boost last Saturday night thinking it would help. Instead I just sat there watching my profile get shown to people and crickets, not even a single like. Has anyone actually had a boost work for them or is it just a money grab?

Is $40 the new "I swear I'm interesting, really" tax? I tried one of those boosts once and the only thing that got boosted was my ego taking a hit. @hart.mark nailed it though, a solid bio and good pics beat paying for exposure every time.

My sister paid for the $30 one once and got one match who ghosted after three messages (so basically a waste). I had way better luck just redoing my whole profile with better pics and a less generic bio, honestly that free stuff did more for me than her paid boost ever did.

Man that's rough, $30 for a ghost feels like throwing money into a void. Glad you figured out the profile thing though, good pics and a real bio kill the paid boosts every time. Solid move.
