Just counted 23 weird soap gifts from my aunt over the years
I was cleaning out my closet yesterday and found a box of random soaps from my aunt. She gives me soap for every holiday, birthday, and random visit. I decided to actually count them and hit 23 bars total, some still in plastic wrap from 2019. There's a cucumber melon one that smells like pickles and a charcoal one that left black stains on my sink. Has anyone else gotten stuck with a suspicious amount of soap gifts?

@gemma.h21 That pickle cucumber soap got me SO bad, I actually sniffed it again just to make SURE it wasn't pickles. My aunt once gifted me a "mountain fresh" soap that smelled exactly like wet dog, so I feel you. @carr.brooke I bet her grandma explosion lavender had nothing on my aunt's "ocean breeze" soap that literally smelled like a fish market cleanup. I swear we need a support group for people whose relatives think we're hoarding soap for the apocalypse.

My friend got a brick of lavender soap from her aunt that was so strong it gave her a headache every time she used it. She kept it in her linen closet hoping the smell would fade, but three years later it still smelled like a grandma exploded. Did you find any other weird scents besides the pickle cucumber one?
