My aunt gave me a singing fish that only works when it's raining

Last Christmas in Tulsa she handed me this bass that belts out 'Don't Worry Be Happy' but only if moisture hits the sensor, so I've heard it go off exactly twice since, and both times I just stood there confused, has anyone else gotten tech that depends on weather?

Is it just me, or do weather-based gadgets always pick the worst moments to work? I had this old digital picture frame that only turned on when the humidity dropped below 30%, which in Florida basically meant it was dead for nine months out of the year. Finally saw it light up during a random dry cold front in January, and it just showed a blurry photo of my cousin's dog mid-blink. Honestly, I almost preferred it broken. Your fish sounds cooler though, at least it has a song.
