My brother gave me a half-used candle he found in his car last Christmas
The wick was literally black and crusty from being lit before and it smelled like his air freshener mixed with old french fries. Has anyone else gotten something that was clearly just dug out of someone's junk pile?

My own family gave me a half-eaten bag of trail mix once with a note that said "still good!" It was from 2019. Pretty sure they just found it behind the couch cushions.

A buddy of mine got a fruitcake from his aunt one year that had clearly been regifted. The box still had the original cellophane and a price sticker from a store that closed down three years prior. He opened it up and found a little note from someone else thanking his aunt for the fruitcake. Man, he still brings it up every Christmas.
