My old boss made us clock out for 'team huddles' at the pizza place on 5th Street
I worked at a pizza spot in Portland three years back and the manager, Dale, made everybody clock out before our daily team huddles every single shift. So we were standing in the back, listening to him go over the specials and the sales numbers, totally unpaid, sometimes for 15 or 20 minutes. I did the math once and it was like $340 over four months that I just never got back. Has anyone else dealt with a boss pulling the clock out trick for meetings that were obviously required?
