Unpopular opinion: the whole "move fast and break things" mentality is actually costing companies more time in the long run
Spent 4 hours last week fixing a database mess that could have been avoided with 15 minutes of planning, and I keep seeing this pattern where rushing through setup leads to 10x the rework later.

You had a buddy at a startup where they skipped planning on a feature and the whole thing collapsed during a demo?

50% of my job is fixing messes from "fast moves" six months ago lol.

Yeah that reminds me of a guy I used to work with who thought he could skip testing on a payment integration because "it looked fine." Three weeks later the whole billing system went down and nobody could process orders for like two days. The worst part was when the boss asked why it happened and he just shrugged and said it was a "minor oversight." Meanwhile the rest of us had to stay late cleaning up the database mess and refunding angry customers. Fast moves are great until they cost you a weekend and a pissed off client list.
