Hit 100 unread emails and felt like a total fraud for thinking I was organized
For years I bragged about having zero inbox clutter, like it was some badge of honor. Then last Tuesday I opened my work email after a long weekend and saw 97 unread messages staring back at me. I realized I'd been ignoring notifications for weeks, not actually keeping up with anything. Has anyone else hit a random number like that and had to admit their system was just a lie?

Oh man, 'inbox guilt' is way too real. I hit 150 unread last month and just closed the app. Told myself I'd get to it later. That was definitely my system being a total lie, too.

Totally feel you on that. I had 85 emails pile up after a four-day run on the road and just stared at my phone like "well, this is MY fault." It's a weird feeling when your "system" finally cracks.
