I finally admitted my iced coffee take was trash, thanks to a random barista in Tulsa
Used to tell everyone that iced coffee in winter was pointless and only for people who wanted attention. Thought hot coffee was the only real way to function between November and March. Then this barista at a shop near my dentist's office handed me a free sample of their cold brew on a 40 degree day. Said it was smoother and less acidic. I tried it just to be polite. Drank the whole cup without sugar, which I never do. Now I'm a full winter iced coffee convert and I feel dumb for being so loud about my old opinion. Anyone else have a food or drink hill they died on for years and then flipped in one sip?
Wait you drank black cold brew and liked it when you never even take sugar in hot coffee? That's wild, what kinda magic bean water is this barista serving in Tulsa?
