My zip tie habit got exposed by a 12 year old at the skate park
I used to snip zip ties flush with flush cutters and thought that was the standard, until this kid at Venice Beach pointed out every single one of my board rails had a sharp nub left behind. Turns out you're supposed to twist them 45 degrees and cut at the corner so nothing sticks out, and I've been doing it wrong for 11 years of building ramps. Anyone else discover a basic move they somehow missed after decades of doing the same thing?
