Paid $200 for a "life coaching" course that told me to charge crystals in moonlight

Damn, did that course at least come with a moon phase calendar? I tried charging my work boots under a full moon once to make them last longer on roofs. Spoiler alert: they still got destroyed by tar and gravel within a month. Honestly, for $200 you could've bought a bunch of glow-in-the-dark stars for your ceiling and called it a DIY mystic upgrade. At least now you know your money was basically a donation to someone's Etsy side hustle.

Is it just me or is nobody talking about the "testimonials" these courses use? I had a friend who paid $300 for a "Sacred Roofing Manifestation Workshop" and when I asked for proof it worked, the instructor sent a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat with like 3 messages and a grainy photo of a shingle. For real, these people are charging for the FEELING of being special, not any actual skill. You could get the same result by putting a roof chart on your wall and staring at it for 10 minutes a day. At least the glow-in-the-dark stars would look cooler when you're waiting for the tar to dry.
