Thought I could swap a light fixture in 20 minutes. That was 3 hours ago.

I spent an entire Saturday afternoon trying to replace a ceiling light because the previous owner painted over every single screw and the wire nuts were fused together from heat. Has anyone else run into a "quick fix" that turned into a whole day project?

That "quick 20 minute fix" always means you'll be eating dinner by the light of a work lamp.
