TIL my buddy actually believed tipping causes inflation
He cornered me at a cookout last August and lectured me for ten minutes about how my 20% tip was making eggs cost more, then asked me to Venmo him $3 for the burger he grilled. Has anyone else run into someone who blames service workers for everything?

Nah bro, tipping doesn't cause inflation, but that Venmo request is hilarious and wrong.

Not really about inflation though. Just people getting weird with money. Saw a friend Venmo request his roommate for splitting a pizza down to the penny with a service fee. Like cmon man. @wyattrobinson you're right the request is funny but also kinda sad if that's how people are now.
