Used to think feedback forms were a waste of time at my job
At my warehouse gig in Columbus, I would just scribble 'fine' on every anonymous survey they gave us. I figured management never read those things anyway. Then my supervisor pulled me aside last quarter and said my specific comments about the new sorting system actually helped them change a workflow. Now I take 5 minutes to write real notes about what's broken or what works. Has anyone else had a manager actually act on that stuff?

Wow, that's a good point @bennett.patricia about actually seeing results from your feedback. Do you think people at your hospital would bother writing detailed notes if their suggestions kept getting ignored for months? I feel like one win keeps you honest about filling those forms out, but if management never acted on it nobody would waste the time.

Got a similar thing at my hospital - I started writing legit feedback about the charting system and they actually fixed one of the bugs I mentioned. It feels good when you see your input actually matters, right?
