Just figured out why the pies at our block party turned out soggy.
I mean, after seeing them, I think our local humidity is what messes with the crust, idk.

Ugh, humidity ruins everything. Last summer I tried to make shortbread cookies, and they turned into mush overnight. I had to keep them in the oven with the light on just to dry them out. My whole kitchen felt like a swamp by morning. Honestly, I gave up and bought store-bought after that mess. Should have just stuck with ice cream for the party instead.
