Just hit batch number 100 this morning with my sourdough starter

I started keeping track after my 40th failed loaf back in March. Number 100 came out with a perfect ear and good crumb structure. My starter is now 8 months old and I've probably dumped 20 pounds of flour into feedings. It was a silly milestone but it made me realize consistency beats luck every time. Has anyone else tracked their baking this obsessively?

Counted my first 50 loaves by number of times I cursed at the oven.

Consistency beats luck every time" - that's exactly it. I did the same thing with my starter last year, just a plain notebook tally. Hit 90 feedings before I stopped counting and by then I could predict the rise time within 15 minutes. Tracking like that really forces you to pay attention to every detail.
