My neighbor saw me tossing a cracked cheesecake and said 'that's just the rustic look'
She ate three slices of that ugly thing and now I'm wondering how many perfectly good bakes I've thrown out over the years just because they didn't look picture perfect, anyone else been guilty of tossing something that tasted fine?

Ugh I've tossed so many cakes and cookies that looked jacked up but tasted bomb, now I feel like such a snob wasting all that good baking. Your neighbor is a real one for calling it rustic.

Betting it's more about the taste than the looks anyway... I've had some ugly muffins that were way better than the pretty ones from a bakery.
