Spent $38 on a silicone rolling mat, best baking money I ever put down
After two ruined batches of sugar cookies that stuck to my old wooden board, I grabbed a silicone mat off Amazon for $38. It's got measurements printed on it, so I can roll the dough to exactly the right thickness without guessing. The cookies peel off like magic, and clean up is just a quick wipe. Anyone else swear by these, or do you stick with the old floured counter method?

Wait, $38 for a silicone mat... that's more than I paid for my whole baking sheet set?
I mean, I get the appeal, mine was like $12 from a discount store and it still works perfectly after two years of cookie chaos.
But hey, if it saves your sugar cookies from sticking, that's money well spent in my book.

Saving $26 is cool until you're scraping burnt cookie chunks off a pan with a spatula and questioning all your life choices. Guess we know who's the real discount here.
