Warning: My new oven in Phoenix runs about 25 degrees hotter than it says, which I found out after three flat cakes last month.

Anyone else have a specific brand or model that does this, and how do you adjust your recipes?

Honestly, it's a GE. And I've had NOTHING but problems. The heating element went out in under a year. Customer service was a complete joke, took weeks to get a real person. For the price, the build quality feels super cheap. I would tell anyone to look at literally any other brand.

Yeah I used to think GE was solid, but this changes my mind.
