My bank's app update locked me out of my account on payday last month

I couldn't log in for three hours and had to call the 800 number twice before they fixed it, has anyone else had an app update mess up their access?

And did they at least offer to reverse any late fees or overdraft charges from that lockout?

Late fees? I'm still trying to get them to waive my dignity fee from that call.
