Switched from a local credit union to a major bank. Regretting it hard.

I had an account at a small credit union near my house for like 6 years. Never had issues. Then I moved for work and wanted something with more ATMs around. So I opened an account at Chase about 3 months ago. First week they held my direct deposit for 5 days. No reason given. Then I tried to transfer money between accounts and it got flagged as fraud. Had to call three times to get it fixed. My old credit union never once gave me a headache. I’m thinking of just closing the Chase account and going back. Anyone else find bigger banks aren't worth the convenience?

Yeah man, used to think bigger banks were better. This changed my mind.

Buddy of mine had like 60 grand in a big national bank. Tried to pull out 5k for a used car down payment and they flagged it, froze his account for 3 days. Had to call some 1800 number 4 times and talk to 3 different people. Meanwhile the car got sold to someone else. He closed that account and moved to a credit union the next week.
