Wait until you need a cashier's check or a notary and they charge you $15 per service. My big bank does those for free. Or try depositing cash at an ATM that isn't theirs. My credit union only has two ATMs in the whole city and one of them is always broken. The app is clunky too. I had a check take 10 business days to clear with them. My old bank would have had it available next day.

Actually @charlienelson, a cashier's check isn't quite the same as a regular check in terms of how banks handle them... most big banks actually charge a fee for those too, just less than $15 sometimes. Your credit union's 10-day hold on that check does sound like a pain though.
