Tried paying cash for a whole week and my spending habits flipped
I decided last Tuesday to only use cash for every purchase, no cards or phone taps. By Thursday I had $40 left and actually stopped myself from grabbing a $6 coffee because I saw the bills leaving my hand. It was a weird shock how physical money made me pause where swiping never does. Has anyone else noticed a psychological difference between cash and card payments in their own budget?

Ngl that's the real question right there. It's like the physical act of handing over cash makes you feel the loss more than the swipe that just happens in a second.

Does that mean cash makes you feel the loss more than the gain of what you bought?
