A hidden tactic using long waits to silence dissent

I found out about how some groups use endless delays to stop people from speaking up. They drag out processes so folks get tired and quit. Like, a neighbor fought a zoning issue for ten years before giving up. This isn't in the news because it makes systems look corrupt. It's a quiet way to ban ideas without saying no. Learning this made me see patience as a weapon. Now I wonder how many truths are lost just because waiting wore people out.

Document every delay in writing, even the small ones (like missed calls or unreturned emails). This creates a paper trail that shows the pattern, which you can use later to call out the stalling. Also, find one or two other people who are stuck in the same process and team up, because it's harder to ignore a group. I've seen this cut wait times in half, honestly, by making the delay tactic too visible to use.

Teaming up is the real move, paper trails just set the stage, lol.
