Found out most 'organic' produce at my local Walmart is legally just sprayed with different chemicals

I was digging into the USDA organic rules last night and found out they allow over 40 synthetic substances in organic farming. Did any of you know that copper sulfate and certain antibiotics are totally fine under the organic label?

Guess my expensive 'organic' kale is just expensive regular kale with a fancy sticker.

Is it really that big of a deal though? I mean, yeah, you probably paid extra for the label, but if you got a bag of greens that didn't have any weird chemicals on them and you didn't get sick, that's still a win. Most of this stuff comes down to how you feel about it anyway, not some lab test.

I mean, guess my 'organic' kale is just expensive kale that I can feel morally superior about while still getting the same amount of dirt in my teeth.
