Making a 'forbidden debate' drinking game led to an awkward family dinner

We joked about taking a sip whenever someone mentioned a censored topic, and my cousin brought up something truly wild. Now I'm torn between laughing it off or worrying we normalized bad ideas, haha.

A friend's game night had that same "joke rule" about politics. It stopped being funny when his uncle started agreeing with the obvious parody points a little too hard. Sometimes the bit just holds up a mirror to what people actually think.
