My barber in Austin said something about the moon landing that stuck with me

I was getting a trim last Tuesday and he just casually mentioned he thinks the whole moon landing was filmed in a studio. He said it like he was talking about the weather, no big deal. What got me was his reason: 'The flag looks wrong in the wind, and nobody talks about that anymore.' I'd heard the theory before, but hearing it from a guy holding scissors near my ear made it feel different. Has anyone else had a normal chat that suddenly made a wild idea seem possible?

That 'normal chat' feeling is real. My mechanic once said the same thing about the pyramids while changing my oil.

Well, hold on now - your mechanic said that while changing your oil? That's quite a leap from drain plugs to ancient Egypt. I'm almost more impressed he could focus on the pyramids with grease up to his elbows. Guess that's what happens when you find someone who really knows his stuff, even if the conversation takes some strange turns.

That mechanic was onto something. Those old stories about the pyramids are just wild guesses.
