The shared spreadsheet that ruined our neighborhood cleanup crew
We had 14 people signed up for the park trash sweep last Saturday, but only 6 showed. Turns out our volunteer coordinator had been quietly removing names from the signup sheet for 3 weeks because she thought some folks were 'slacking off' from last month. I only found out when I called one missing guy in Fresno and he said his slot was deleted. Now we're rebuilding the group with a paper roster at the shed, and I want to know if anyone else has dealt with a gatekeeper who thinks they're helping by hiding info.
