Wasted $150 on a "miracle" device for cleaning gutters that just soaked my yard and broke apart after two uses

I fell for one of those gutter cleaning wands they sell on infomercials, the kind that hooks up to a pressure washer and extends to reach high gutters. Paid $150 for it last spring, thinking I'd save time and avoid climbing a ladder. First use, the plastic connectors snapped off and the hose sprayed water everywhere but the gutter. Tried to patch it with tape and zip ties for a second attempt, but the whole thing just fell apart in the middle of my yard. Now I'm back to using a basic scoop and a bucket, which honestly works better and didn't cost me a dime since I already had them. Has anyone else tried these gadgets and found one that actually holds up, or are they all just junk?

$150 for a gutter wand? I think I saw that same one go for $80 on Amazon. Not that it would have made a difference if it broke after two uses anyway. The pressure washer attachment ones are always a gamble with the plastic parts.

Everything is going down in quality but going up in price. Went to Target last week and a pack of sponges was like 50% more than it was a year ago. The sponges themselves feel thinner too. It's happening across the board, not just with gutter tools. You pay more and get less.
