I just cut my 5000th head of hair and it hit me different
I was cleaning my station last night and my booking app showed the count, which I never really look at. For some reason, seeing that exact number made me realize how many people have sat in my chair and trusted me over the last eight years. Do you guys ever think about your total client count and what it means?

That's wild, makes you think about all the hands you've shaken or high-fived over the years too. Like samwalker said about the small talk, but also just the physical trust of letting someone hold sharp things near your face and neck. Five thousand times someone decided you were the safe person to do that, which is kinda heavy. It's not just a service, it's being someone's calm spot for twenty minutes.

The 5000 number really puts a spin on it. I bet at least a few of those people only trusted you because you were just some stranger who wouldn't remember them later. There's a weird freedom in that, being the calm spot for someone who can't be calm anywhere else. Kinda makes you the keeper of a bunch of secrets you'll never know.

Yeah, that's a big number! Makes you think about all the small talks and life updates you've heard over the years, not just the haircuts.
