Shoutout to the guys who book 15-minute slots for full restyles
This happens all the time. A client books a short slot for a complex cut, like last week when a guy wanted a full restyle in 15 minutes. I rushed and the result was poor. Another example is expecting a precise fade in no time. It frustrates me because quality suffers. I want clients to know that good cuts need proper time. Why don't they get that?

Read a blog post arguing that underbooking leads to more client complaints in the long run.

And rushed service feels cheap, @drewwalker.

My last haircut was so rushed the barber practically pushed me out of the chair after 12 minutes (I timed it). Guess that's the "underbooking leads to complaints" model @drewwalker mentioned, where the complaint is me looking like I fought a lawnmower. They definitely prioritized speed over, you know, actually cutting hair properly. Felt less like a service and more like a drive-thru.
