That Tuesday I had back to back nightmare clients nearly broke me
Last Tuesday I had three walk ins in a row who all wanted completely different things than what I usually do. First guy wanted a flat top with a skin fade, second was a kid screaming about the clippers touching his neck, third lady asked for a bob cut but kept moving her head every two seconds. I messed up the fade on the first guy because he kept jerking away from my hand, had to refund him $25. By the time I got home that night I was so frustrated I almost quit barbering on the spot. What makes a bad day like that different from a normal rough day for you all?

Three walk ins back to back on a Tuesday? That’s not a work day, that’s a stress test from the universe. I swear the Tuesday curse is real because I had a lady the other day who wanted a long bob but then yelled at me for cutting off a whole half inch she said she wanted gone. Then a guy came in for a beard trim and brought his own scissors with a dull blade and asked if I could use them instead. By the end of the day I was legit ready to just lock the shop door and walk into the ocean.

oh man i feel this so hard. i had a day last week where my first two calls were a thermostat that just needed new batteries and then a lady who wanted me to fix her furnace but got mad i wouldn't also clean her ducts for free. third house the guy kept following me around telling me i was doing it wrong, turns out he just wanted someone to talk at. i was ready to sell my van and become a hermit by noon.
